Founded in 1986, Dokken is a multi-discipline professional services firm specializing in all phases of project development, including preliminary engineering, feasibility, environmental studies and documents, PSRs, PA&ED, PS&E, right-of-way appraisals, acquisitions, and relocation for public agency clients. Headquartered in Folsom, we also have offices in Redding, San Diego, and Irvine.
Over the years, we have developed exceptional experience and expertise, having engineered and obtained environmental compliance on over 3,000 infrastructure projects, including over 2,000 federally funded projects. Dokken works almost exclusively with public agencies, including cities, counties, municipal and joint agencies. Many of our staff have experience working directly with and previously for local agencies or resource agencies, such as Caltrans, FHWA, and the U.S. and CA Department of Fish & Wildlife.
Through this combined experience, we understand our client’s needs and work collaboratively with them to develop innovative solutions for project delivery. Combining our extensive experience and unparalleled commitment to project delivery saves our clients valuable time and money. Dokken employs over 170 civil, traffic, structural, and water resources engineers, environmental planners, community outreach experts, and funding and right-of-way specialists who deliver seamless and cost-effective projects. We have worked throughout the state for federal and state-local agencies. With the majority of project work performed by one firm under one roof, project coordination and communication are maximized.
